This Summer School in France is open to the nationals of all the countries. People from Low-income and Middle-income countries will receive Support and Funding towards Travel expenses, accommodation, and Fee waivers. The IARC Summer School aims to invite participants who are working, studying, and doing research in cancer prevention and control to enhance their knowledge and skills. This program will focus on the causes of cancer, and how to control it. The IARC Summer School consists of 2 to 4 weeks of online training and then 5 days of in-person training in France. Modules of the Summer School

There are two modules and participants can apply in ONE Module only.

  • Introduction to Cancer Epidemiology: This course will focus on the practical application of epidemiological principles and methods to various cancer control activities, mainly targeting the search for the causes of cancer.
  • Implementing Cancer Prevention and Early Detection: This course will provide a broad perspective on principles, concepts, issues, and practices of cancer prevention, early detection, and program implementation.

  • Living Expenses
  • Fee Waiver

Participants from Middle-Income Countries will receive:

  • Living Expenses Only.

  • Participants can attend only one module.
  • All participants must be fluent in English.
  • Scholarship Priority is given to applicants from low- and medium-resource countries.
